Lol, I'm petty, I couldn't run a boring tire, no matter how good. I got the Discoverer ATs they dont make them anymore, but this is the new version of them. They were pretty cheap at pep boys. I feel bad for you guys with those huge rims. These tires kick ass; snow, rain, towing, plowing, they've been great. 30k miles of mostly highway, and they still look brand new. Like even still have some siping. I'm hoping to get well past the 60 they're rated for. http://us.coopertire.com/tires/discoverer-at3-xlt.aspx
Don’t feel sorry for me. I love my 20’s. These Michelin Defenders make my truck run nice and smooth. I know I’m prolly gonna get the same response I’m giving you but I feel sorry for the guys with them stock-sized and oversized heavy duty LT mud and AT tires on halftons that beat ya to death. I played that game. OEM sized BFG AT’s, even with my air suspension, they made my truck ride like a 3/4-ton tank. Wasn’t gonna fly. And not even ten months later, and barely 12,000 miles, I pulled them off and sold them.
But now, if people use them to off-road, that’s different but for little to no off-road, I just don’t see the justification in these types of tires.
