One thing about it Lubegard is some excellent stuff. My Hemi got noisy and it shut it up. I just put it in my LSX 408. I run it in my wifes 3.6 Jeep as it likes to dry start. It stopped that mess. Does Mobil 1 not work in the heavy duty trucks? Im running that in the 408 and my Flex.

I don't recall if anybody ran Mobil 1 FS 0W-40 or the results. This is the Euro formula. Don't recall how much extra moly it has either.
Too many blows to the head in my youth.

@Travis8352 help!

You can use that super class 0w40 if you like, no real difference between that and 5w30.

Bad omen. Things are not well @ Red Line and Royal Purple, from my perception.
Nothing solid, just events adding up to a meltdown.
I don't know much about Royal Purple since I haven't used any of their products in 11 years and haven't kept up with their developments.

However, I can confirm that Red Line has relocated from Benicia, CA to Tennessee, with their headquarters now in Texas, alongside Philips 66. The Red Line team has expanded, incorporating more staff from Philips 66, and they've added additional chemists and formulators to their team. Unfortunately, Dave Granquest has retired, and I will miss our conversations.

Red Line is growing under Philips 66, and they are committed to not only maintaining their high-quality standards but also improving them.

Mobil 1 FS 0W-40 contains 80 ppm to 100 ppm of Trimer Moly. While Trimer Moly is excellent, it doesn't create deposits or plate surfaces. This formulation relies heavily on Mobil's proprietary Borate Esters and Glyphosine Monooleate for anti-wear and friction reduction. The API SP version is superior to the old API SN version. I've extensively used both in my HEMI. The old API SN version was highly prone to absorbing water. I used the API SN as power steering fluid in a truck, and it nearly destroyed the power steering gearbox due to water absorption. I replaced it with Mobil 1 EP 0W-20, which did not absorb any water. The high detergent content in the API SN version was responsible for drawing water. The API SP version has less than half the Calcium content of the old version, with the other half being Magnesium, which doesn't draw water. This year, I replaced the power steering pump and gearbox in that truck, along with the fluid reservoir and filter, and used TES 668 ATF. It's now working perfectly.

Mobil 1 FS 0W-40 API SP is a very good oil, but not as good as Red Line 5W-30.

Lubegard Bio-Tech is very good stuff. The Lubegard Platinum ATF Protectant is also awesome. If you ever want your transmission to shift like a very expensive luxury car (crisp short shifts even under high load), add 3oz/quart of ATF of Lubegard Platinum to your transmission. It will make a huge difference. I'm running this in two transmissions at the moment, and it made a huge difference.

I used the instant shutter fix in my ram, and I am running the ATF Protectant in my Flex and Camaro. I haven't gotten to take the Camaro out yet. The Flex has just been around town but it seems a lot smoother even at 21k miles. I will be curious when I get it out on the freeway here in a bit.

I use Castrol TranSynd 668 + 3oz/quart of LG Platinum in a ZF 8HP70 in my 2016 RAM 1500 4x4 Big Horn.

The other vehicle is a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe XL 3.3L GDI with a 6-speed automatic. I also use Castrol TranSynd 668 + 3oz/quart of LG Platinum.

For both of these I did 3 drains and fills. On the RAM I have a PPE Aluminum Transmission pan. On the third fill, I added the Lubegard Platinum. Between drains and fills, I run each vehicle up to temperature and for about 20 miles.

After the third fill was completed, I used this scan tool to reset the adaptive values and triggered a re-learn on each transmission: https://tinyurl.com/y8bt453d

For the ZF it's really easy: once you trigger the re-learn, all you have to do is hold the brake pretty well for about 10 minutes as the computer revs up the engine and calibrates each gear several times.

After all of this work, both transmissions shift like a dream. I couldn't be happier. Though, the ZF still has that occasional kick when coming to a stop (the 2->1 shift). I believe they fixed it finally in the later model years, probably the 8HP75. We also have a Durango, and that one has the 8HP50, and doesn't have that kick.

Your info is quite "detailed" ...

I'm going to perform the tranny drain/fill and will also be using the PPE aluminum transmission pan.

I've should have already done this when the weather was a little bit cooler.

The only question I have is: who blends it for TORCO?

Is timing gonna tank stellantis? Top 5 EV trucks in order, Ford Lightening, Rivian, Chevy, Tesla, and Hummer - LIST. Ram not even there as they don't have anything for the market. And the real bad news is Ford is number 1 but yet they lose 100k per truck from the number one position. And considering where ram chose to go with it's EV platform, embarrassing gen z wish lists and no consideration to cost, will this tank the entire stellantis co? New ram EV 60-90k estimate.

I guess a better question is truck ev's gonna tank all non EV brands such as Ford, Chevy and ram? Is not Toyota the smartest vehicle maker on this planet? No truck ev, lol. Hybrid only. Same as Nissan. Did Toyota and Nissan somehow pull the okey dokey of the ages and smoke the USA car makers by cleverly not making EV trucks will USA went balls out into EV?

Does anyone think this is actually gonna work? Countdown to auto bail out number two?

AMSOIL SS 0W-40 is really good.

Mobil 1 FS 0W-40

Castrol EDGE Euro 0W-40 - hard to find, but they reformulated it with Moly and Magnesium.

Quaker State Euro 5W-40 - this one is the same oil as Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 - the very same oil that Ferrari uses as factory fill. Shell sells their excess production in Quaker State Euro and Pennzoil Platinum Euro bottles.
