Really glad to see you went Dynapad. Are you doing dynaliner too?
No. I just went dynamat extreme and dynapad. I may add a bit here and there once I get the audio in. My fingers are really sore from working all the dynamat around all the contours and creases. That was a long day yesterday getting all that in. I think the back wall was the hardest! Because there's so much to go around. I was surprised how much factory deadener was already on the floor. I bought too much extreme. Still have 11 sheets out of 18. Probably only use 6 more to finish the roof etc.. next hardest was getting the dynapad fed underneath and up the firewall. It doesn't slide around very easily and binds on everything.

Biggest screw up I made was snapping off a seat bolt tightening with the impact. Had to drill it and extract it. I'll pick up a new bolt today and fix that. Damn you milwaukee and your superpowers!

Battery was dead on the ryobi and since the milwaukee was in reach I figured I'll just be gentle. Next time I'll just get off my ass and get another battery.IMG_20180324_071826.jpg

Use the butt-end of the roller instead of your fingers. It's not a beauty contest. If you have a hairdryer or a heatgun you can also do a couple passes with it as you put in it place. I have to admit, I did 100% coverage with evervything, so many many cuts to get full coverage. I started with my fingers and after 30 minutes, I said the hell with that.

I used a heat gun and a plastic body work contour tool. Still a lot of finger pressing to make sure I got it flat since I could feel for bubbles better and pulling panels. I figured with the dynapad on top I didn't need 100%. Took it for a drive and there's definitely less road noise. How much more I'll have to do once the audio goes in I don't know yet. Depends on where the rattles are.

Was surprised how easy the interior came apart. I think I could pull it all out and put it back in pretty quick now that I know where all the fasteners and plugs are.

Yeah you get muscle memory too, lol. I did the back wall, then the floor, then the doors, then the headliner. Between each stage, I reassembled or pulled it all out. It took a few days. You are gonna love the absence of ambient noise. It is tomb-like.
