Well, I'm finally getting the tapping on startup and into warmup at 90k miles. I've had the manifolds done at 30k under warranty. I worry about my lifters. Whats the advice on the next step?

Check the manifold bolts again. If the repair involved replacing the manifolds, the replacements will warp just like the originals. Best way is to mill or belt sand the manifolds flat. They have already been heat-cycled and should not warp further.

Also, the manifolds can warp to the point where they don't fully seal when warm.

Worth a shot, please post what you find.

yeah, video would help a lot. Mine started tapping at about 146,000 and mine was definitely lifters your cheaper option if you’re handy to do a cam swap and new lifters, but I didn’t feel like going down that rabbit hole when you get into it you’re like oh I might as well replace this and replace that while I’m at it, so I ended up ordering a new engine from mmx I wanted more power anyway
