"Tesla Style" 10.4 Android Radio Information

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with a 12.1 PX6 4/64 HU installed, back of unit pic below, i want to install a 7 keys wireless steering wheel smart car remote control button pic below. Factory wiring diagram does not show a "Key1 or SW1" wire on factory wiring diagram. I think steering wheel volume control signal comes over Can Bus to OE radio. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this head unit? Or hooked one of these Volume control remote in a 2017 Ram? I would recommend installing the OEM steering wheel controls instead or buy a new steering wheel with factory controls. They will work with the PX6

Adding to this (even though this thread is not about your aftermarket radio... There are other dedicated Tstyle threads) ... Switched 12v can be found at the 12v dash outlet below the radio

Switched 12 volts is not the problem...volume control wire going to the T-Style HU is what I am trying to find. Sorry posted in wrong thread, My mistake feel free to remove.

It will. However if you have a 2019 Classic, then you have Apple CarPlay. If you have that, why would you need anything else?

That's true it does come over thru the can buss, but it has to enter the head unit from can bus...that's the wire I am trying to find.

Put your truck info in this site and search "radio c1" (I think?)...that should give you the connector wiring diagram and function.

Maybe instead, identify the CANBUS signal wires in the factory harness from that website previously posted and try to trace those wires/pins to the external CANBUS module in the T-Style radio harness then on into the radio (if needed).

I wouldn't try to rely on any CANBUS wiring diagrams you may find for these radios as they are used in A LOT of different makes/models worldwide. Instead, identify the CANBUS signal wires in the factory harness from that website previously posted and try to trace those wires/pins to the CANBUS module then on into the radio.

I'm looking at this unit. I have an iPhone and the main reason for looking at it is for Apple CarPlay. Could anyone who has this post photos/videos of those CarPlay screens so I can get a feel for how that works? Does it auto connect wirelessly? Is it true Apple CarPlay? Any other apps/settings needed to make this work? Thanks in advance.

Does wireless Apple Carplay work? If so, does it need the wireless dongle for it, or is it just built in?
Does the AM/FM radio display song & artist info?
Do all of the steering wheel controls work (volume +/-, chapter +/-)?
I have a 7 speed manual climate system. Is this compatible?
Does the steering are display console info still work (is this called the EVIC console)? To show things like TPMS, etc.
Does the new screen show TPMS info?
Can it use built in mic or do you have to install a new one?
Have you needed to contact the seller and if so, how do you contact them?
Any idea if AlfaOBD still works along with this new radio?

Did you update the FW from Sergey?
Does it include time and compass direction at the top of the screen?

A: Not natively but I would think the wireless CarPlay dongles would work in the same way the AA ones do.

A: I believe the answer is no unless they have done some updates since last I used it (see picture)

A: It can use the built in mic but it is horrible IMO, some sellers offer a modified harness that allows for an external mic (Linkswell is the only one I know of)

A: Mine was gifted to me. I have contacted many of the sellers and some are better than others. Phoenix Android support generally is terrible, Linkswell's is great and there are many others in between. I would not expect much support from an AliExpress seller though.

A: No, but he helped me do a lot of root functions on my radio when I used it and he's a great guy. I think his firmware is a great product for someone that wants more from the radio but isn't very into Android development themselves.

I don't know if I tried it but I'm pretty sure it reads text out loud (native to carplay). I only fiddled with the iPhone to see if I could get Android Auto to display full screen by detecting what commands were executed when turning on CarPlay.

I took the T-Style out in favor of a factory 8.4 UAQ.
