Third brake light leak question.

I'm well aware about the cab stop light water leak and that water pools into the area behind the driver seat.

I removed mine for LED upgrades, so I wanted to specifically know if a minor leak occurs where can it be detected inside cab first. I re-sealed but didn't take off the foam seal that was already in place , washed truck and wanted to chase a leak, if present. Thanks

if you put more weatherstrip over the factory that was in good condition, it wont leak.

I'd just do a garden hose test or something similar for a few mins, you'll know right away if there's any water getting in still. I recently replaced the weatherstripping on mine too.

Yeah. It was in good condition but I tore one corner up then put it back down and added Eastwood caulk strips.

Was wondering where the trickles of water would first get to on a weak leak if one existed.

it depends on where the leak is, mine leaked into the far right passenger side down the seat,

Far right passenger back or front , with far right you mean near door edge area?
Also, does the roof line get wet or not always necessarily. Ta.

Mine leaked on the passenger side corner and yes the liner got wet, because would just come down through it on to the rear seats.

More or less. Mine was so bad it was pretty much came down towards the center too..

Makes sense whys there's rust on some of seat brackets. Previous had no idea WTF was going on. Probably why it was traded in. lol
