What gear ratio?

Wheel size is not important. What is your tire size? If 33’s 4:56 will be about the same as my 34’s with 4:88

If your only towing like 7 or 8k don’t bother. But if you are heavier 4:56 will be ok with stick tires. If you ever think you may go bigger tires go 4:88.

Not going bigger tires but 8k is the lightest i usually pull and sometimes up to 14k. Travel trailer is 8500 and i pull it over cascades and coastal mountains 4 times a year. Truck does good but lower gears will help. Also wish i had a bigger fuel tank but thats for another topic.
