Proven dyno results as high as 30 rear wheel horsepower gains when combined with other mods like long tubes, cam…Im not cammed yet, but I did notice a bit more low end pull.So trying to show my ignorance, but what does the 6.4 intake do for the 5.7?
The 6.4 intake has longer "long runners" which helps generate more torque under about 3700 rpm,above that the 5.7 and 6.4 intake manifolds are fairly close.The longer runners usually generate in the area of about 20 to 25 lb-ft more torque off idle to roughly 3700,which is down where you need it,like pulling away from a stop towing a trailer. Above 4,000 there isn't all that much differance between a 5.7 and a 6.4 manifold.In a truck you usually want as much torque as you can get under the torque peak to get the truck moving.So trying to show my ignorance, but what does the 6.4 intake do for the 5.7?

Horsepower is just a mathematical equation of Torque X RPM divided by 5252,as dyno's don't measure horsepower ,they measure torque then mathematically convert it to get a horsepower number.Idealy the torque and horsepower curves should cross at 5252 rpm
I will get better pics of everything shortly. I am traveling for work in Texas. I will be back on Wed night. On my headers, I routed down between #3 and #5 primaries. I bolted it to the engine-side brake booster stud with a 90 degree forward bend in the Lokar bracket. Its positioned in a slight curve firward in the the line so as to have a bit of spring force downward. I do not have a clamp on the bottom/block connection. I just seated it all the way in. It took some doing to get it seated. Its a tight fit. I took my time and tapped it in with a prybar and hammer, LIGHTLY, tapping until it seated flush. I yanked on it pretty forcefully, and its not coming out without some serious effort.Do you have more/better pics of the Lokar dipstick routing/fitment? I need to order one for mine still. I just bent the crap out of my stock dipstick tube as a temporary job until I had a better solution.
