Ok, I wasn't in car configuration part of it. Went in and did the DRL and fog light drop out. Going to wait about 15 minutes and check to see if everything took.

Give it maybe overnight. Seems that when it involves a new line/setting in the radio, it takes longer.
Fog light thing worked right away after a key cycle, but when I did the trailer name deal, it wasn’t till the next day that it showed up in the settings in the radio.

Remember for drl's to come on you have to be in drive or neutral. Parking break can't be engaged

I re-checked everything and in the settings that I changed, gave it 20 minutes, and then had my eldest son sit in the driver's seat and hold is foot on the brake and put it in drive and the DRL's worked in the high beam as I set them. Perfect guys, thank you.

When I get my HID/LED headlight build done, making the changes in Alfa should eliminate the need for the resistors needed to fool the trucks electrical system. I'm liking it. Need to research that....I think page 255 had that info...

Ok, my next go around with Alfa is I want to try Profile Peak 3157 amber only LED turn signal bulbs in the front.

Just to make sure I keep this straight, go to Car Configuration Change menu and then choose:

CBC Features-LED Front Turn Lamps Present: and then go to Select value: "Yes" and then "Start "

CBC Features-LED Front Park/Mark Lamps Present: and then go to Select value: " Yes" and then "Start"

I have a 2013 slt truck with drl shown in my 8.4 and I do not have the csm for some reason they do not work but everything that I have done worked without activating the csm the only thing that I could never work is my automatic lights I could never do to function in fact when activating I think the automatic lights stopped working my high lights when moving towards the front the switch only works if I move the light lever backwards I know that I do not have high lights

Can AlfaOBD be used to disable or remove active grill shutters (AGS)? Motor went bad in the assembly and it is ridiculously expensive to replace.

im a apple guy so what tablets are good to use with the mx.i got a old acer and down loaded the free one didt use yet.and went to down load the 49 one .and says this app may not be optimized for your divice.does that mean its to old lol

It says that on my tablets and I bought a new Samsung. I think it’s the fact it was built for a specific size and it may look different. Like when they came out with the plus iPhones and most of the apps had to be updated.

Apple guy here. I purchased a Samsung Tab A (8”). Could have gone with my laptop, but preferred just having a tablet to use. Easier than lugging the laptop around.

I have the OBDLINK MX+ tool and the Pin puller APP from the android playstore. Anybody know how to use this to get my pin or do I have to purchase an ELM327 compatible device? I asked the app developer for step by step directions but I am getting nowhere. How did anybody get their pin using the app? I would rather not go to the dealer. Thank-you

The MX+ and the app is all you need. You might have to purchase some in-app tokens, and you need to have a data or WiFi connection to pull the PIN.

Here's a how to on sending yourself the logs. It is highly recommended that you do this prior to making any changes
