When they installed it I'm sure they slopped with with moly paste first. FCA's hemi oil is loaded with molybdenum as well,
read the basic science. Lubeguard biotech is the only known and proven additive that adds the same moly as you see in engine oils, not mos2 which gels up the sump. Drop the wix filters, see the last 10-20 pages of oil filter thread. Royal Purple 20-820 or fram ultra is gonna be a better choice.
The best proven lubrication strategy on the board has been redline 5w30. We have tested this over a decade here on ram forum, trust me it takes this long to find enough people to buy into what we were trying to do.
Redline poll and
lubegard poll. The redline not only has around 500ppm moly but is also loaded with aw/ep additives, ester base oil, and pao base oil, all help combat friction and proven to kill hemi tick at aprx 80% success rates. Not only in this poll but in the syn thread when we started recording results. If you opt for redline 5w30 you can easily double that interval and not miss a beat of protection, it can pay for itself over and over again in many ways. I would even suggest 9k mile interval, I personally go 10k miles myself.
Longer intervals benefit greatly from spun microglass media,
see oil filter thread. Two tests posted one in the beginning and one in the end, both tests have fram utra and royal purple as 1-2, cant go wrong there. The wix offering is junk in the second test, wasnt considered in the first test.
