No tuning needed for a limited slip, and you don't even have to adjust the computer if stepping up to a higher gear ratio either. These trucks read speed at the wheels instead of the differential, so it makes for an easier install when it comes to the gears/diff.

The LSD only mounts to the carrier, no change in axles.

Correct...axle shafts are the same on both the LSD and open diff.
