Ive been in contact with the developer of the app in regards to finding settings that might affect the AutoPark functionality that dealers have so graciously enabled/flashed/"accidentally" added.

He requested a dump of data from a truck that has not had the flash, along with a truck that has. I know there were actually a few possibilities of config along the way:

1. Trucks that had the AutoPark code in the computer already, but was not enabled from the factory
2. Trucks that did NOT have any of the AutoPark code
3. Trucks that had the AutoPark code and already have it enabled from the factory

If possible, I would like to get a dump from at least one truck in each of the above groups. He also requested " recorded debug logs for the “Read System ID” of the BCM ". Instructions for dumping the data are in the first post or two of this thread.

Anyone that could provide this info, it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

OK so I found and reset my bluetooth part of the PC system and now like Lawsuit11 said I'm on COM3 and it should be good BUT. The new issue is when I click connect button the PC just freezes (4 times so far). I made sure that I could go into the OBDMX itself and there were no problems there. I went to the Alfaobd app, checked the version and clicked repair and still have the same PC lockup problem. Did anyone else ever experience this? If I were to do a complete uninstall and try to reinstall would the same activation code still work?

Try COM4. 4 on my computer freezes.

A big THANK YOU to Lawsuit11 and Mrmagoolin for solving my problems, I'd be lost without them and the FORUM:Angry:. I'm on COM7 with a totally deleted and rebooted Bluetooth setting to the OBDMX and all is good. I really like being able to have both the Android and Windows versions.

FYI if anyone has that issue again, you can see the com port assigned to the Bluetooth adapter by checking device manager in windows.

I knew there was a way I just could not remember and was not by my tablet to look.

For those on the DRL kick, the DRL Dropout does indeed toggle the DRL when the turn signal is active. In my case, I have my high beams set as DRL, and I can confirm that the setting does work. I would also imagine it will work with low beams as DRL. However, with turn signal set to DRL... well it stands to reason that the turn signal will still be a turn signal, and flash. As far as fog lights as DRL, I will try to find time later this afternoon to mess with it and see how those react, but my gut tells me that the dropout will only be effective with either high or low beams set as DRL.

I like the windows interface a lot better and in the log it keeps track of what changes you make. So you don’t have to keep track manually. If you change a setting on your truck look and the log and it keeps track for you but the only problem I had was with the RF hub.

I just had my wife test my DRL with turn signal and it does actually flash when you turn the turn signal lol

With your converted quads, are you still using the factory light harness, and is your truck still set as quad halogens in the BCM? How do you have that set up to get your DRLs functional, and what are your dropout settings?

If possible, I would like to get a dump from at least one truck in each of the above groups. He also requested " recorded debug logs for the “Read System ID” of the BCM ". Instructions for dumping the data are in the first post or two of this thread.

Anyone that could provide this info, it would be appreciated.

You can let Alexey know that the BCM log and full Debug logs that Keith sent him a couple of days ago for the Projector Highbeam DRL issue qualifies for option #2.

My truck has the autopark from the factory and has been active since day one. I also saved my initial BCM settings as suggested on page 1 before I ever made any changes.

If you want me to email it to you lemme know

Alexy wrote back on exactly what he needs for the BCM:

" Please record the connection to the body
with the "Read System ID", this will record the full BCM
config."

Not sure if your original dump had that, but if you could run a new one with that, that would be great. Maybe we can create a folder in the Shared BCM configs on Google Drive and then just share links to the files to him.

Thanks again.

1 post in over a year and it's a borderline ad? This reeks of sock puppet...haha

Spend most of my time reading about RVs. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, so not much to say.

Has anyone used the AlfaOBD after installing the Morimoto Xb FogLights so that you don't need the splitters and resistors ? ie by setting the fogs to LED fogs?

M² Mods.
