I'm not sure if this has been asked before but is there a setting to switch between a 3" and 7" EVIC?

Welp, I tried changing the target voltages to what you suggested but it still throws the bulb out error. I'm guessing my truck just doesn't like the LEDs that are in there. I made a short vid showing what it is doing:

These LEDs are super bright. They are rated at 100lm for the low and 360lm on high. The CANBUS bulbs are rated a lot less.

Oh well. Thank you guys for all of the suggestions!

2015 is a notorious for not liking anything besides halogen bulbs.

My understanding is "Not set" is the same as "No". So, "DTC Enable" set to "no" means it wont throw the DTC. Obviously it still is, so this setting might have no effect on your year (or even mine for all I know).

Do you have the full dump of your BCM? If you want to post it as an attachment, or put it in Google drive somewhere, Ill take a look and compare it to mine.

FWIW I think it has to do with the fact that you have legit plain jain LEDs. No CANbus error cancellers, etc. Technically those should work better, as long as the settings are correct. It could also be that the 2015 model year seems pretty finicky in regards to lighting changes.

Yeah, I didn't want to mess with those DTC Enable settings. I was hoping I'd get lucky by using non-CANBUS bulbs on my 2015 but it looks like its pretty finicky regarding LEDs. I'll attach the dump so you can take a look. I appreciate all of your help so far Chris!

Just off the top:

You have bi-xenon headlights enabled, those should be set to No

The one that should be enabled is High Intensity Discharge Head Lamps

The voltages showing in that dump are still stock, not sure if you dumped this before or after changing them to 12.2V. Im not sure how the voltage targets apply to DRL when they are set to fog light location. Maybe try disabling the DRLs for now to see if anything changes.

Auto Headlamp ON Threshold: 3.31 V
Auto Headlamp OFF Threshold: 2.55 V
Left Side DRL Voltage Target: 7.4 V
Right Side DRL Voltage Target: 7.4 V
Left Low Beam Voltage Regulation: 14 V
Left High Beam Voltage Regulation: 14.2 V
Right Low Beam Voltage Regulation: 14 V
Right High Beam Voltage Regulation: 14.2 V
Left Front Corner Voltage: 13 V
Right Front Corner Voltage: 13 V
Left Rear Corner Voltage: 13 V
Right Rear Corner Voltage: 13 V

I would make sure you really have LEDs in the positions that are "Set". Like tail lamps, etc. Just to be sure.

LED Reverse Lamps Present: Set
LED Stop Lamps Present: Set
LED Rear Turn Lamps Present: Set
LED Tail Lamps Present: Set
LED Rear Fog Lamps Present: Not set

LED Front Turn Lamps Present: Set

LED Dedicated DRL Present: Not set
LED Low Beam Lamps Present: Not set
LED High Beam Lamps Present: Not set
LED Front Park/Marker Lamps Present: Set

I got the LED Reverse Lamps Present changed to Set, thanks again!!!

I’m still can’t get the Auxiliary Switch CSM To work.... it says I have it set to the 1-4 option but nothing is showing up in my EVIC or in the settings on my radio???
I don't think the aux switch csm works in the 2014s. You can set them the way you want in alfa but they don't show up on the csm. I have a 14 and could never get them to show up.

Alright, I changed the bi-xenon to NO and the High Intensity Discharge Head Lamps to YES. I did change the Front Left/Right Corner Voltages to 12.2v but I changed them back to 13v after I dumped the BCM config. I also tried it with the DRLs disabled but got the same result. I verified that I do have LEDs installed in the rear stop lamps, rear turn lamps, tail lamps, license plate lamps, front turn lamps, front fog lamps and front park lamps. I have the non Sport tail lights (one bulb for stop/tail/turn). I had to turn on all three settings to get them to not throw a bulb out message.

I'm going to chalk this up to my truck not liking these LEDs I put in the front turn signals unless you can think of anything else? Thanks for all of your help Chris.

Somebody asks this about everyother week, It does not work.
If you want to input to the useless navigation while driving, look into one of the Jailbreak/Lockpick solutions.

Hey guys! Had a question asked on my YouTube channel that I don't know the answer to. Hoping one of you have experience with this.
He is asking if AlfaOBD can set his sunroof to close when he shuts off the engine and locks the doors. 2014 2500.
I'll send my viewer a link to this thread with the answer.

Thanks!!! That's kind of what I figured as everyone that I've seen do it has a 2015 or newer truck. I don't think I'd use it much anyways but thought I'd try.

With led low/high beam set to no, did you get a error message on those? Or only the parking lights

Just to verify.

VehConfig 3 HID lamps > YES
CBC FEATURES-LED Front Turn Lamps > YES
CBC FEATURES-LED Front Park/Turn > No
CBC FEATURES-LED Low Beams > No
CBC FEATURES-LED High Beams > No
CBC Extern.Light Right/Left Low Beam > 12.2v
CBC Extern.Light Right/Left Front Corner > 12.2v

2018 Ram 2500 6.4L Hemi Tradesman

The front door ajar settings wont affect the lighting monitoring, then.

Another thing you could try: set the voltage targets for left and right front corner, left and right side DRL to 12.2V . Leave the headlights as-is (should be 14.something).

To clarify - Is the consensus now that L/R low beam voltage should be left alone? I had changed mine to 12.2V in an effort to alleviate my parking light out message (in addition to corner voltage). Interestingly, mine was set to 13.0V when i made the update.

Mine is currently at 14.2 on the low, 14.4 on the high. The rest of the voltages are all 12.2 and all is well (I dont get any errors during turn signalling, which is what my original issue was after installing my modified V1 AlphaRex headlights)

A bit off thread !
A question for the RAM Service Tech's or anyone on here ! I do not have OBD2 and the only thing I want to turn on in my RAM that is :O i the VTA (Vehicle Theft Alarm ) I have seen on here a pic of the set up on the OBD2 so was wondering about the set up at the dealer !
Last time the tech told service writer no suck thing so I would like to know where they can look , so I can tell them if I get another tech saying the same thing !
If it in the OBD 2 like it is I assume it should be in the dealer set up if the trucks computer lets it ? So any info on where the dealer techis to look would be great ! I want to go in well armed with facts lol
I do not feel safe with me using a OBD 2 lol and for the cost if any at dealership it will cost less or 0$ . I do have a good dealership so far :)

Thanks

I don't think they'll be able to do it. I believe that option is VIN locked for them. I could be wrong though.
