Awesome thanks! I just put LEDs in my lows/highs/fogs and I'm noticing a minute flicker. I'll change it to HID[emoji106]

Yeah I did those and the high/low to LEDs already. So its just the lows that I change to HID?

You'll see VehConfig 3 high intensity discharge lights. Enable that. You can leave low's and highs set to led. Won't hurt anything.

Sorry if this have need asked. I converted from 3.0 to uas and auto climate control using Mike's harness. Is there a way to enable Comfort on for me? It would be nice if the truck would turn the heat on by itself in the morning ( I don't have heated seats)

The Auto On is for the heated/cooled seats and steering wheel.
Since you have the Auto Climate control, set the temperature and leave it set in Auto mode. The system will automatically ramp up the heat and even blow air out the defrost vents. You may need to manually select the Defrost button, but that's once your already in the truck.

No relays, so far so good. If I notice problems I'll get the relay kit. I am still waiting on the new deeper dust covers with grommet holes pre-drilled. These lights do not fit under the stock caps. To get by until they arrive on the 8th I sealed it all up with weatherproof tape...
I just finished this install after getting my new dust covers. I posted the video of me finishing it up over in https://www.ramforum.com/threads/hid-vs-led.152733/page-3#post-2188246 if anyone is interested.

Hi ;)

I just failed to activate DRL on my 2017 RAM.

Factory setting were :
DRL Configuration: Optional DRL
DRL Lamp Location: NONE

So I changed them to :
DRL Configuration: Optional DRL
DRL Lamp Location: Turn Signal DRL

Now, DRL are activated on my front turn signal but with full power ( probably 12V instead of the 7V ), and when I activate my turn signal I receive a error message from EVIC saying my REAR turn signal bulb is out .

I believe the problem is coming this LCM module.
I've got this because here in France as you probably know, rear brake and turn lights are separate. I think this module was added for this french conversion.

David.

With that module, when you have your turn signals set as DRLs, do your rear turn signals come on as DRLs also?

Hi Jimmy ,

this is very good question !
Unfortunately I didn't check but you have probably the same idea that came to me : This module maybe use the front turn signal to light on the rear bulb. This is a method often use here to convert a US car to the french regulation.

I will have to turn on again DRL with alfaobd and check.

Also, do you have factory projector headlights, or the quad headlights?

In that case, set your DRLs to these settings instead:
DRL configuration >optional

DRL lamp location > dedicated

DRL dropout enabled > yes

CBC I/O right dedicated DRL lamp output present> yes (should be yes already)

CBC I/O left dedicated DRL lamp output present > yes (should be yes already)

LED dedicated DRL present> yes

ECUConfig 3 DRL customer setting enable> yes

CustSetMenu 1 daytime running lights CSM> yes

Hey folks. Struggling with right turn signal bulb out and parking bulb out messages, only with the headlights ON. Everything is perfect with the headlights off. I have LED low and high beams, and LED turn signals (also enabled as DRLs). I have LED front turn signal = Yes and LED front park/marker lamp = Yes in AlphaOBD. Another symptom is hyperblink of the right mirror indicator and dash indicator, but the main turn signals in the front and rear do not hyperblink. Again, these issues are only present with the headlights on. I only have a RIGHT turn signal out error and the parking lamp out message only appears after the LEFT blinker has blinked a few times, like every activation of one-touch lane change. I have resistors installed on the turn signal legs (not the DRL legs) of the turn signals, i'm wondering if perhaps the right resistor as a break in the wire which i'll check next - but otherwise i'm a bit stumped.

Question - in AlfaOBD under the Radio Frequency HUB there is a procedure called "Read PIN" that errors out. Is that "supposed" to pull the PIN and just doesn't work or is that for something else that ... doesn't work?
