I know it mentions special packages but for the life of me I can't find that option anywhere. Unless I'm just scrolling too fast by them. When I reset the mileage I got a cool continental tire splash screen and I wouldn't mind having that all the time.

You have to connect to the body control module.

Program custom features. And it’s in there.

The U.S trucks equiped with factory Nav came with the Travelink free for five years starting in 2015. The Canadian trucks did not have this feature. I noticed you said the icon was present on your screen but I don't see it in the pictures you posted. Do you have the Travelink icon like this in your Apps screen?

Adding new screenshots. Travel link appears to work, it's just traffic that shows not subscribed. And if I use the nav, I dont get any traffic updates or anything else sirius lists as part of traffic plus.

If the Travelink icon is on the screen on a UAQ radio the code is enabled in the BCM. It seems to me like your real time Traffic is not subscribed. I would call the number for Sirius customer care that is on your emailed receipt to get it resolved. I have never had any luck using the number fof the subscription center getting anything done.

I think I have read every post about programming a new highline fobik but still haven't been able to find if I am safe to erase the good key I have in order to program the key I bought and reprogram the good key again. I tried to program it with the highline option but it says its already programmed now but does not work.

The erase fobs should only be used if someone else has a fob to your truck that you don’t want to have, and can’t get it back, or if you have 8 fobs programmed (the rf hub limit) and lost them all. It erases all of them, not just one.
You’re not actually doing anything to the fobs when you erase them, but rather, making the rf hub forget them. Once this is done, the fobs are useless until they’re unlocked, which the alfa can’t do.
If you want to program a new fob (if there aren’t 8 fobs programmed), just program the new fob and don’t worry about the erase feature

I will try that tomorrow, just wanted to see if it was a bcm setting. This is even more unusual that the truck is canadian and had travel link when I bought it... granted the evic reads mi and not km, so maybe when it got imported to Detroit it was reflashed somehow before it got sent to the dealership I bought it from.

In response to my hours changing problem, the dev said it's not communicating fast enough to do the procedure. Not sure if it's a problem with my OBDLink or Alfa but is working on a fix in Alfa to try and speed it up. I will keep you guys posted.

Thank you, my issue isI bought a fob online that was supposed to be new. I took it to a locksmith who said he could program them. It never worked and he did not charge me so I decided to try to program it myself. It now tells me the fob is already programmed but it does not work. Is there any way to fix this or should i return the fob ? It has a lifetime guarantee.

Yes, I would return it. I recently bought 2 fobs that were supposed to work on my 2018 2500 Laramie but I couldn’t get to work. They took the programming but didn’t work. I returned them and got very specific about my truck year and model and they sent new fobs. The programming whet easy and both work great.

Were they push button start fobs? I havnt seen a walkthrough or video about programming pushbutton fobs yet, only the keys you still insert. Can you link the fobs you bought? I need a 2and one for my 2018 sport.

The pushbutton fobs are "highline", the programming process AFAIK is the same as baseline programming, except you choose "Program Ignition FOBIKS Highline System" in AlfaOBD.

They are the keys you insert. I don’t have push to start. I was able to program 2 more of them so, now I have 4 total.
