If you're talking about the mirrors then I dont think so. I added power folding mirrors to mine and everything works perfectly, except no option to power fold when ignition is turned off. If someone knows a way I'd like to know too. Although I do not like to fold them constantly as it will wear the motor prematurely. I fold mine when I'm in a tighter parking spot and that's it. If you have a taper from z automotive it will perform the autofold, but you have to leave it plugged into your obd2 port. I have one,but like I said i worried about the motors wearing.
Make sure you also don't take the truck on trips less then 100 miles, you know, so as not to wear it out

That’s for Chrysler mini vans, to stow the rear seats.

Thanks, Jimmy.

Here is another option for auto-folding mirrors for recent model Ram trucks that cost less than a Tazer but may have no other features.

They're listed as on sale at $200.
I have zero experience or knowledge of this item, buyers beware and do your own research.

Have read that to get auto folders, one also need the memory seats/mirrors and such and possibly new door modules for it to work
It can be done on 2019+ Heavy Duty Rams, by swapping in 2023+ door modules. But you’ll lose function of the trailer spot lights.

Well if I start my truck 4 times a day minimum it has to open and close that many times. I had it set that way at 1st,but don't really need them folded in at home or most parking lots. I can always throw my tazer in if I want to do that. I put the mirrors on my truck and want them to last long enough to trade in within a year or 2 when I move to a 3/4 ton.

Hello, my name is Daniel and I'm from Germany and I need help. I don't have a RAM, but someone recommended your forum. The problem is this: I wanted to activate the SRT menu on my Fiat Freemont (almost identical to a Dodge Journey) with AlfaOBD. Unfortunately, something went wrong. After that, everything in my instrument cluster went crazy. The ABS, ESP, parking aid "Maintenance" lights were lit, the fuel gauge wasn't working, and there was no tire pressure indicator, etc. Unfortunately, I, being an idiot, didn't back up before adjusting the settings. I discovered that all the parameters were changed. The BCM didn't know which manufacturer the vehicle was, how many doors, body shape, etc. Now I've found a car with the same equipment and model year as my vehicle. I don't know if everything is identical. But at least all the visible functions and buttons are the same. I copied the parameters and compared them. I noticed a few small differences. The transfer case and chassis type are particularly noticeable. Can you please help me here? Nobody in Germany wants or can help me.

So what help is it you are actually looking for. The attributes you uploaded do not look like they would be the critical ones to get correct to put your unit back to original condition.

Your other option would be to take it to the dealer and have them reflash it back to original configuration. Given how little knowledge you seem to have, that would be the safer alternative.

It might help to know exactly what you changed to start with. Some changes in AlfaOBD have a sort of global effect, changing multiple values with one setting.

First, I set the vehicle to an SRT. Then I set the vehicle to Enable Performance Pages.

Then the problems started. My car was no longer a Fiat. The body shape was wrong, the number of doors was wrong, etc.

Did you at least reverse those two changes and what was the outcome. Have you disconnected the battery for a couple of hours after reversing those settings.

Ok, you didn't make a backup but did you ever read the system status while connected to the BCM? DON'T RUN THIS NOW...but if you ever did read the system status there should be a log you can export that has all of the settings in your BCM prior to the change line for line. it should be a log that looks like "Body_Chrysler_Info"

I then reset the parameters. Unfortunately, the errors remained. I also disconnected the battery for an hour and tried to use the remaining power. No luck. The vehicle data was gone. No manufacturer stored, no year of manufacture, no tire diameter, no body shape, etc. I've now entered almost all of the data from the copy. Now, for now, all the errors on the display have disappeared. However, there are still some things that are driving me crazy. I don't know what 5ZS or 5ZR, SDB or SDU, BR2 or BR6, and DSE mean. Why is this different for two identical vehicles? What is it? I'm also worried that something else is wrong that I can't see. I read somewhere that the ABS should also be reinitialized urgently. Is that true? My ABS works. The car drives well. I drove it for two hours today.

No, I didn't check the status. The software was new to me. I just wanted to quickly unlock the menu and didn't think about the consequences.

Those sound like option codes. If you can get the option code sheet for your VIN, that may help. Here is an example...

EDIT: Google something like "option code 5zs chrysler" to find the codes you see

Thanks for the tip. I found a Chrysler options list. If I go by that, I have a 5ZR - 4 doors. SDU - Heavy Duty Suspension with W/Gas Shocks. BR6 - Anti-Lock 4-Wheel Disc HD Brakes. DSE - Tru-Lok Front & Rear Axles.

I don't know if that's true. But I definitely have four doors and larger brake discs than the older models. I don't know anything about the axles, but I don't think those parameters have any impact. Is there anything I need to pay attention to or other control units I need to check?

I'm just paranoid. Don't feel like buying another set. I have trail ridge mirrors and they work great, no complaints. All features work and they look like the stock Ram power fold tow mirrors. They weren't cheap, but definitely less than a new set of Mopar mirrors.

The only way to know exactly what you have (without physically examining part numbers) would be to get that option sheet for your VIN. As you can see by the watermark, it's not necessarily something the customer is meant to have. I had a source that could get me this but I haven't seen them around in a long time.

Being in Germany, I'm not sure if you have dealerships but you could always ask them for that information or pay them to flash that factory option list back to your vehicle.

EDIT: PM me your VIN and I'll reach out to them to see if they can help

I have a 2025 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel. I just bought AlphaOBD software for my android phone and have the OBDLink MX+. I'm trying to save the original file from the body module. Alpha connects to the MX+ and when I pick the 2015 Body module it says connected. I log into my google drive and hit save. It's saves a file, but the file is empty with a file size of 0 bytes. I want to save this file before I start changing a couple things. Any thoughts as to why my file size is 0? Thanks.

I believe you have to upload directly from alfaobd to your Google drive.
