So I have been reading on the forums a little about my issue.

I have a '14 Ram 1500 Express and had a 4" lift put on it. I noticed when camping this weekend that whenever i hit pot holes in succession/washboard roads that my ass end wants to come out from under me.

I just ordered Core 4x4 Adjustable rear control arms, the full set, Core 4x4 Adjustable Rear Panhard bar and a hellwig sway bar.

From what I have been reading, that should improve my issue, but before it ships out I would just like some confirmation as it was a little over 1200.00 in parts.

You "SHOULD" be fine, but washboard roads are going to have that kind of impact on your stability regardless of what set up you have in my opinion, our rear ends are not that heavy so those washboard roads are going to send the rear end where it can ...

But you "ARE" going to see a big difference ... I only got the lower control arms from CORE 4X4 and it helped my truck's stability by a lot !

I went with the whole set as well, including rear end links and the hellwig. I live in an isolated community nothing but pot hole infested roads. Huge difference in the truck with those upgrades. I’m running a 9” lift and 37s and the truck is running awesome. I’d recommend the core 4x4 setup to anyone, stock, lifted, off-roading, or daily driver!

Hell yeah. Thank you guys for the confirmation. I did get three colored control arms in the bright green. How gates do toy think it would be to have the sway bar color matched?

Here is some I have. I noticed I don’t have any of after my Hellwig was installed. I’ll have to grab one of the whole back end once my truck arrives back into isolation next Thursday.

View attachment 214148 I did find this one of a pic I took after installing train horns. It shows the Wig.

More info on that train horn setup please!?!?

Side note another useless pic to confirm Core 4x4 5-link set will fix your ass end kicking out.

Now get the Core 4x4 swaybar rear end links

I waited 2 years asking repeatedly for Core to make front swaybar endings. Finally gave up and dialed up SuspensionMaxx. I never thought I'd recommend $250-$300 worth of sway bar links but I'm serious when I say these products work and you're getting your money's worth.

Very easy install. I done away with the spare (37s) and fabbed up 2 brackets to hold the train horns to the spare tire mount. The compressor (Tornado) is sitting on top of the spare tire cross member and drilled/bolted down. The horns are bolted to the cross member going from axel frame to spare tire frame. They are pretty damn loud. I have the compressor running to a switch in the cab and obviously the horns to it’s own button. I have it so the horns can be used when the trick is off (my preference).

I still want to see a picture of your truck ... with that 9" lift ... I am at 7" right now and I am thinking of installing the 3" PA body lift soon ...

I saw the brackets on the rear of the truck wondering what it was for in a different pic. Thank you for the info!

I'll have to look into finding the parts in the future although I can tell you now my horns are going satin black to hide them.

Could always install one horn on each exhaust cutout :D. Then reroute the exhaust to side exit.

Are you talking about those aluminum brackets on the spare tire crossmember? If so, those are what I made to hold the air tank. Sorry I didn’t mention that if that is what you are talking about.

I was going to paint them black as well, however was in a rush to get them installed before I sent my truck out of isolation. I still may paint them as they just hanging there.

The Core 5 link is going to help significantly and I would run the hellwig on the outermost holes if you want the most flex out of the suspension. Depending on the shocks you might want to tighten it up or run it loose, easy to play with by moving the end links to a different hole. When I still had 5100's I ran them in the middle hole which rode rougher, but gave it some more control. Shocks will also be a factor in the ass end becoming unsettled if they can't adequately control axle movement over uneven terrain.
