After reading other forums no one I came across has loudness soft key button on 8.4 UAQ with Nav and HD radio like myself. I even checked the manual but couldn’t find it and if someone does could they show it in a picture please.

No Loudness setting to enable on soft key radio so I guess I don’t need it.

It is not a soft key that gets enabled. It is an internal radio ECU setting only visible/changeable with AlfaOBD or some other robust toolset. In other words, you are only ever going to see it and change it with AlfaOBD and the change is noticeable. I believe the default is enabled and to my ear it sounds better disabled (but this is a highly subjective user preference).

By any chance do you know What is the setting to enable the softkey radio icon to show up on the screen? All I have is the media where the radio is and other media options.

Can you post a picture of what you are referring too? I think what you want to do is just have a button for FM on the side, if that's the case, you will simply drag the FM radio Icon to the left on the bar where you want it by touching and holding it to drag.

Sometimes that happens when signals are interrupted while using AlfaOBD, don't be too worried. They will likely clear after several power cycles and everything will likely still be functioning normally.

I believe that just initiates a reinstall of apps and settings already present on your radio. You will see it do a similar process after flashing the firmware on your radio with apps shown that you don't have (like off road and performance pages).

I'm pretty sure all of us that play with AlfaOBD have had this moment!

I used a SGM bypass meant for a different vehicle and modified it to work on my wife's Pacifica but accidentally created a short when modifying the connection for the Star Connector. It completely shutdown everything on the vehicle with that short in play on the Star Connection. No power to anything at all. If you wanted a way to really screw somebody that would be super easy to implement and super hard to find, you'd put a shorted jumper on the Star Connection on these vehicles and watch people scratch their heads trying to figure out what's wrong...

Most definitely!
So I guess with the new updates like 40.1 version for 8.4 Uconnect the self dedicated FM Am radio icon itself is no more and you just use media besides just for aux now to radio but the picture shows totally different than how mine is.

I still can’t get back the Vehicle User Guide app I originally had before updating.

I know that 40.1 also removed performance pages for those who had added it with AlfaOBD on UAS radios (haven't confirmed for UAQ). I know you can flash back to 39.6 if it's something you want, but I generally discourage firmware flashing for things you feel you can live with...

That icon should switch to the one you are looking for if you choose FM as the source I think. It changes with the current media selection (but yes, there is no dedicated FM icon that can be put on the lower bar).

I'm on 40.1 with a UAQ and have the Vehicle User guide still. If you just recently updated to 40.1 sometimes it takes a while for everything to settle in. If it still doesn't show up you can do a factory reset of the radio and see if it helps.

Not FM/AM. I mean Radio mode vs Media mode.

Is there a way in Alpha Obd to enable or populate Vehicle User Guide regardless? I guess probably not since each Year is different as well as different trim models.
