My truck runs a performance tune, 93 octane premium fuel 10% ethanol blend, and I use Lucas fuel treatment every 1-2K miles.

I rarely use additives, but when it comes to fuel injector cleaner this Lucas product is the only one I can say worked.

In California, a few gas stations carry Racing Fuel
I know that it is used at the Drag Strip

At this particular service station, they don't advertise the Racing Fuel Pump.
It is often very busy with Speed Boats fueling up.
I think that to use that pump, you have to show the Cashier paper work for the Vehicle or Hull that it will be used in

I do know that Ethanol gas destroys Harley Carbs, & fuel filters.
It also rusts out metal tanks, unless they are coated

I have Kawasaki & Bendix carburetors & Glass Fuel Filters all have rubber gaskets
The gaskets & the needle seats will soften & pit if ethanol is allowed to sit in them.

On the other hand, if you ride them every couple of days, the damage is minimized

If you talking about this one I have used it for many years in every one of my wife's many vehicles (and my diesels) along with the Lucas Ethanol fuel conditioner with stabilizers... As for increase in mpg my wife would report a 1-1.5 mpg increase ( 5.25 oz per 20 gallons of gas) I did so without telling her, when I used it regularly in my 2006 diesel I bought it by the gallon, I'm using the last gallon of it in my wife's 2021 Toyota highlander.

Hi. Are you using both products at the same time or individually? For my new 1500 hemi running with 10% ethanol use both or just the green bottle?

I heard many great things about BG products. I can't seem to find them in parts stores, I have asked a few times. I live in the Richmond Va Metro area. I have read their warranty statements and would love to use their oil and fuel additive for my Nused (new to me) truck. It is time for my first oil change on the truck, so now is the prime time for this additive to the various systems.

what types of fuel additives do you guys use on your Hemis? What injector cleaner? Does anyone use an octane booster? What type of gas? ie: regular (10%) or non-ethanol?

I switched to non-ethanol, but it's like a $1 more per gallon. Truck seems to run better and i get better milage (nothing great...maybe +2-3 mpg. Not sure if it's worth it.

I'd like to add injector cleaner, but there's so many out there, i just want one that works. Any suggestions? We're taking it on a 600 mile trip so i thought this would be the best time to throw some in.

Back to fuel...what octane do you prefer in the Hemi? Does an octane booster actually do anything other than take your money?
PEA (polyehteramine) AKA Techron works very well. Available at Wally World. That's your fuel additive which cleans fuel pump, injectors and contributes to reducing carbon deposits in the cylinders. I'd add a bottle per whatever the instructions say, and I'd do it for several tanks of gas. The clean up almost never happens from just one application. But, I've seen it do wonders!
Next, fuggitabout ethanol free fuel. That engine/ fuel management system was designed for ethanol enhanced fuel (up to 10 percent or so).

READ your owner's manual. Put the fuel octane rated gas that they recommend! Any more is like adding sugar to your soda pop. Waste of money.

I personally use either Chevron, Shell, or Exxon. I choose to stay FAR away from Wally world/ Sam's Costco fuels. My customers who use those "lesser" fuels keep my busy! I always advise not to jump over a dollar to save a nickel when it comes to fuel choices. The Few dollars saved can cost thousands later.

During our recent over 5 dollar a gallon events, Wally World stores in my area reduced gas prices by 2 dollars a gallon. I remember seeing lines similar to the lines I saw during gas rationing in 1972.... lines which stretched out of sight.

I use BG in my shop for the benefit of my customers. I've refereed claims for customers to BG and they have paid. That's a good thing! The 44k fuel tank additive is Techron on steroids, and IT works. I've been using it for years on my personal vehicles with great results.

Regarding the 44k and a new truck w/hemi; if I run gas with 10% ethanol would you recommend using this every oil change?
If so, should I also add a fuel additive to stabilize the e10 each h time I fillup?

Other than the comment about WM (Murphy) gas, I'm with you here. I use 87 because that's what my manual says to use. I pick the station with the cheapest fuel because I always have and have never had an issue. We have Shell here, but not Exxon or Chevron. We also have Casey's and Citgo (which is what 7-11 used to use on the west coast). We also have the occasional Phillips 66 station. I get all my gas at either the local Casey's (more expensive, but 5 minutes away), WM (20 minutes away), or sometimes Sam's Club (40 minutes) if I'm up in "the city" for some reason.

Only if you purchase the more effete "Techron" from a parts store or Wally World, should you need to add very often to your gas. I'd do it monthly. As for MOA, Yes use it every oil change. NO you do not need to add stabilant to your gas tank if you have ethanol in it if you use the vehicle regularly.

Don't think Techron is PEA anymore, Sherman. Only a couple left, one of which is Red Line.

Can't google why the change, just a bunch of opinions, but PEA is no longer listed on ingredient label or SDS, where it was originally.

Anybody remember the days when you were going to take a 300 plus mile trip, when you filled up before leaving, you added 1 gallon of diesel to the fuel tank ?
That was back in the day when you purchased gasoline not the junk the sell today cut with corn additive to up octane value

Saw this stuff advertised on Truck U, Motortrend TV. Available at chain auto parts stores, if you don't wanna wait for Redline PEA.

This stuff also has PEA. I don't think Techron does anymore.

Damn you, lol. I was wandering around my local Canadian Tire this evening, and they had the CRC on the shelf, and i thought of you as i grabbed a bottle to try out.Between you and Mike i'm gonna go broke keeping up with these fixes in a bottle, lol. At $35 a bottle it's cheaper then the RMI that's $55 a bottle though, lol
