They finally pushed my truck into an empty bay this morning after the engine has been sitting in parts for a month. I just sent the service manager the following email:

Subject: Completion Date Request – 2022 RAM 3500 / RO# 217564 – Engine Replacement
Dear Noah,
I'm writing to request a firm completion date for the engine replacement on my 2022 RAM 3500 Limited (VIN:
3C63R3SL6NG216134), currently at Rairdon CDJR of Monroe under RO#
217564.
Timeline so far:
- Failure diagnosed and warranty claim approved: February 2026
- Mopar exchange engine delivered to dealership: June 9th, 2026
- Vehicle moved into service bay for install: July 8th, 2026
I understand the six-month wait for the reman engine through the Mopar exchange program, though excessive, was outside the dealership's control, and I appreciate the loaner provided during that period. However, I've been told on a weekly basis for the past month that work would begin, without a firm start or completion date. Now that the engine is confirmed on-site and the vehicle is in a bay, I'd like a specific, realistic completion date in writing so I can plan accordingly.
I'd also appreciate confirmation on the repair order that the turbo is being replaced, along with the parts list for the engine work once complete.
Please let me know the expected completion date at your earliest convenience.
Thank you,
Brian
