Does anyone know if this would work for the 4.7L or is it just the hemi?

Awesome! The threads on mine are starting to rust I'll definitely take a look at that...

Check through your old spray bombs,you might find a cap that fits .I use a similar cap off an old WD-40 can I had laying around,a touch of black Krylon plastic paint,and it screwed right onto the threads.Been on the truck for 4 years now,and still looks good. I shift my truck at 6600 rpm,and the cap has never moved.

Mine went extremely quickly on my 2016 b1500 w/5.7. The only snag was the electrical connection. I had to cannibalize wiring from the original A/C fan to extend the leads. Not a big deal, as long as you remember to use the same gauge wire when you splice! So much room!

No = TYC
OEM Penstar will not work due to code (forget name).
It's the 3.7l v6 e-fan you use. The OEM has more CFM.
I live where it gets 126* and I use the OEM since it has more cfm. I have keep good notes. Where the OEM really shines is above 105* temps.

It looks like their discontinuing it. I'd get it before their gone and only aftermarket is available.

They're discontinuing it? Well that sucks, the Mopar one is way better than the Dorman/TYC ones...

Looks that way and I agree 100%. I went to three mopar sites all say discontinued.
If this one ever failed, I'd return to stock setup and I keep my old stuff with 38k miles on it before i'd put dorman/TYC on.

I know of someone who used the doorman and the nut came off. Had to fix in a parking lot.
As for CFM (amount of air blown) there is a difference in motor watts between the two. So they cut corners there too.
