Install of oem tow hooks on a 14 Express

I want to do this. Where is the best place to find the tow hooks?

Unless you can find used ones I bought mine on eBay.

Ebay is the quickest for new tow hooks--enter "Dodge Ram Tow Hooks" and you'll have many pages of info-

Just wanted to say thanks to the OP and everyone who contributed to this thread. i installed OEM hooks on my 14 Express today and it went together pretty easy. Even more surprised that my freehand dremel work came out looking pretty decent lol

Anyone that has done this. Do you know the inner diameter between the hooks? Specifically what size lights bar would fit between them?

I was going to add a 42" light bar but also have hooks in my garage I want to add.

The in-turned hooks are about 30x3/4" apart and the shafts are about 40x1/2"-

Thank you. I have the tow hooks but need help coming up with a bracket for my Ram Sport. I really can't believe Ram doesn't offer something like Ken came up with. I know there must be a lot of plastic bumper Rams out there that need tow hooks.

just got hooks installed (facing out) big thanks to Ken226 for the brackets, they worked great! Also the good job u did posting pics and instructions! Sorry no pics now hopefully later ,fyi installed on a 2014 sport... Also R.L.K. did a great writeup with pics!!

I know it's an older post but I'd like to mention these brackets are amazing. I've been using my truck to pull out branches and stuff in the yard and even a couple small stumps. it's so nice having tow hooks on my truck.

Im glad theyre working out. Im ashame to say, my own have just been for looks so far, havnt had occasion to actually use them yet.

Im sure that will change when winter comes.
