leaking from 3rd brake light or window

I have a 2013 single cab express and noticed water in the plastic storage compartment after a heavy rain. I did switch the OEM brake light to the gorecon. Any recommendations on how the fix this problem?

Either keep the stock 3rd brake light and let the dealer silicone it... or use the Recon light and silicone it yourself.

I added door weatherstrip to mine. Can get a cheap roll at an auto parts store. Makes a nice tight seal. Make sure to get the weather strip with 3m tape on one side.
