My father in law gave me his 94 dodge ram 1500 , he put a new 5.2 318 engine and a new transmission in it. Drove it briefly and within 2 miles from my home one day it started losing power then die on the side of the road. I was able to start it and drive it up the hill to my house, then it died in my driveway and have not been able to start it. I have replaced the ignition on the steering Colum , put a new battery and have a dome light in the cab but the headlights do not work????? Not sure what that is. I know there was a recall on the fuel pump/sending unit on this truck. And has been replace 3 times now. It may be that again ,not sure ! What do you all think?????
