unlocked PCM's

2018 RAM 1500. If I buy a i3 tuner with unlocked PCM from Diablosport and one of my next mods is to add an e-force supercharger which says needs to have PCM sent to them what route should I go with getting the unlocked PCM. Get the Diablosport and have to send it to Edelbrock after e-force install or can I just get a custom tune after adding it?


UPDATE:Just got of the phone with Edelbrock tech. Told me I would need to send the PCM to them for their modifications....

If u get diablo they unlock the pcm so no need to send it to e force to unlock they can just send you the tune for it.

Get a diablo and unlocked pcm. Buy supercharger, have a custom tune done once supercharger is installed.

They might not send you a tune, they might want the PCM there to make a tune based off your adaptives etc. I’d just ask them what they’d recommend.

You should still get a custom tune though, their tune will run fine and make good power but it will likely be stupid rich and have room for improvement. Just check if that’s going to fudge any warranty with edelbrock.
