This guy at the shop said the pipe may not work if it's too thin, so he basically said if it's too thin then they won't be able to use it, and I would basically be wasting the money...I did order the muffler and he said 175 for the pipe and bending it..

I'm not really sure if he was just bs'ing me to buy from them or not...

He said it would be 175 for taking one of their pipes and bending it, which he originally offered 220..

He was bs'ing you. They don't make pipe that thin anymore. Most piping is 14ga or thicker just about anywhere you go. But thanks for the order. Take it the coupon worked fine this time?

Here's a chart for you so you can tell the difference in the gauge of pipe. Ask them what gauge pipe they are selling you at that price...

Yeah coupon worked fine...I'm worried he is going to give me some bs about how they can't bend the pipe or that it was harder to bend and just charge me extra...it's like a freakin crap shoot

I'm debating on calling again, I called like 5 times already LOL

Got 'em lol...I called and asked him what gauge piping he would supply me with and he said 14 or 15..so I said I could get 14 gauge piping at 7.5' for 35-45 bucks

Lol. What did he say about that? Surely that isn't the only exhaust shop around...

I asked him if that would be alright bending that kind of pipe (14 gauge) and he just said "sure" so I told him I would bring it by next Friday morning, have them bend and install the pipe and the muffler. I would then go to my neighbor's and have him install the cutout and take off the running board holders because I got rid of those a while back but never took the holders off. My neighbor's main concern was that the pipe would be bent correctly because he doesn't have the tools to bend it..so I will just have them do the pipe and the muffler..

I called another shop and they said they don't install any parts that they don't provide

I'm a poor college kid so I'm just trying to save as much as I can lol..

Got the muffler yesterday, now just waiting on the pipe..hopefully the weather won't delay

Got the pipe today..I think I'm going to wait a couple months until I put everything on. I don't feel like exposing the new exhaust to all the salt and nasty conditions. Might as well just wait a little longer. Thank you for the pipe and muffler Duane!
