Not sure if this was discussed yet but I was able to clear the error message for LED reverse and license plate lights through Alpha OBD without installing resistors.

You’re lucky . My parking light out error still shows up in the cluster but the actual error on ALPHA OBD is B16BF . Which is a front left side marker lamp error . Not even sure what that is lol

AFAIK in motion navigation is not possible through alfaobd... Not sure if there are other ways to do it.

with the option to enable, or disable.

Has anyone tried to modify this setting, to get Nav In-Motion?

Yesterday I installed a CHSML camera in place of my third brake light....I have not activated it yet . I am getting a message on the evic that the R brake light is out. It is working. Is there a way to clear this with alphaobd? Thanks

Go into CBC features and select LED-CHMSL lamp present.

On the very first page of this thread there are simple instructions on how to make a backup using AlfaOBD. It seems prudent to do so before modifying the truck in any way so I followed the steps and the alfaobd app popped a message indicating that I had successfully uploaded the backup to my google drive. Problem is the file is a blank file - nothing in it at all.

Have you all checked to see what your backup file looks like? I've tried twice now with the same result.

Sometimes, you need to tap the battery icon, to force Alfa to read the BCM. Then you can follow the instructions and it will upload properly.

I dont have nav (yet) but I might try this to see if it makes any other difference.

Not sure if it shows up once a nav radio is installed, but I dont have most of the options in the Radio/Nav drop down.

My Control Unit dropdown values are different than yours, I do not have the Telematics gateway.

Do you know what version of the app you are using?

I put in some retrofitted headlights with switchbacks and halos and DRLS . And since mine wasn’t a LED version I am getting a left side marker lamp control our error .

So updated - I took my left headlight out and can’t find anything unplugged . still getting the “ parking light out “ on the cluster and the Alfa obd says it’s code B16BF which is left sidemarker lamp control short circuit to + battery/open circuit . Still no idea wtf that is lol

And just because you may have corrected the issue does not automatically clear the error. You have to go through the process with AlfaOBD of clearing the confirmed faults.

I have OEM black sport housings with MORIMOTO D2s 5.0 , diode halos and switchbacks .

Turn on the parking lights, look to the outside of headlamps you should have a amber light in the corner hence the side marker light
