Turn on the parking lights, look to the outside of headlamps you should have a amber light in the corner hence the side marker light

Well I went from quads to retro fitted set or OEM projectors with halos, DRLS , switchbacks etc . It’s been fine for like 8 months until now . I don’t have the amber corner light anymore cuz now my switch backs and halos turn amber when turning . I checked the turn signal harness and it’s all connected fine

Yeah without that lit it might cause the issue.

I think you can disable the side markers using alfa

So you’re saying that those side marker bulbs never worked and you had no code? Or did the bulb actually go out? Or did you possibly just upgrade to a 7” evic?

I have a 2018 so I have a 7” Evic . And ya ever since I had the headlights made the aide marker doesn’t light up . I’ve had the headlights for 8-9 months and never had an error until now

RADIO TELEMATIC GATEWAY



Then,

IN MOTION MENU CONTROL



Then,

OVERRIDE OCCUPANT INFORMATION

with the option to enable, or disable.

Has anyone tried to modify this setting, to get Nav In-Motion?

I am interested to know exactly where you went to find that setting. That’s the most frustrating part of the entire upgrade is that it wont allow use when in motion. Even if you have a passenger. Would love to change the settings but I cant find the menu you are under to locate the radio telematic gateway.

It’s not an option that I could find anywhere for my 2016 ram 2500

Same goes for ram 2017 ram 1500 but I don't have the nav system... Not sure if that makes a difference.

What vehicle do you have selected? That does not show up for the Ram trucks, However it does show up if you select Dodge Charger as the current vehicle.

My guess is you don't have A Ram truck selected as your vehicle.

After all, we're still looking for an in motion workaround.

Not trying to put one over on anyone. Just trying to find answers. I poke around inside all the menu options, looking for clues.

I'll report back, with my findings.

Okay, my question is this... if you have a Ram and you select what I did... and you can see the option... and Alfa let's you make the change... does it compromise the BCM?

From what I understand, we can only make changes to things that are resident in the BCM.

Just thinking out loud here.
