HI guys. I unfortnetly I have canadian Uconnect RA3 with soft 16.51.19. HU 68270664AE. Can I upgrade to 18.45? Im from poland and I want to have polish language, meesages.

Technically that's a North America sw update....
You have a 2017 Ra3/Vp3-CA (Canadian) so I'm not sure how that'd handle the update or if any special programming changes have been done for use in your country.

In theory, you'd have to find/update to v17.xx.xx first ... Then you come go to v18.45.x

Note: I don't have the v17.x SW update for a 2017 Canadian RA3 Vp3-CA.

I’m new to this thread and am looking for a bit of help. I have a 2018 ram 1500 with the uconnect 8.4. I purchased about a year ago and haven’t been able to get the CarPlay working. I replaced the media hub, yet it still comes up as iPod when plugged in. I was reading that updating the system may fix the problem. I’ll attach pictures of info from the unit. If someone could point me in the right direction of which updates to install that would be great! (I attempted one but was given a message that the files were not supported)

Someone swapped a pre 2018 radio into your truck. Unfortunately, it doesn't support CarPlay.

It shows me the "wait 2-5 minutes" screen and the "Insert a USB update" screen. Has anyone managed to update this model? Thank you very much.

I had the same issue with a 2013 VP3 a long time ago. It appeared to be a driver issue and I fixed it by plugging the update USB directly into the back of the radio using this adapter.

Yeah got it used last December, I’ll post a pic tomorrow. It’s the media hub inside the center console/middle seat

OK so my CANADIAN RA3 682706664AE soft 16.51.19 update to 18.45.01 without any problems. hardware part number change to ...664AG. But nothing changes in software, everything looks same like before update. Now I want to add Polish language software and turn on navigation and any apps that i colud have in it, just for my fun.

Well, the good news is that an upgrade for you back to a 2018+ radio should just be the radio itself, plug and play (the hub is a 2018+ hub still). You can sometimes find these radios at great prices on car-part.com and then sell your current one to recoup some of the funds.
