All the mods the OP listed will make a difference in performance. If money is an object. I would suggest starting with purchasing a tuner and custom tune. Then buy the rest of the bolt ons as you are able.

Some people buy an unlocked PCM and keep the factory PCM. I didn't see the point in my case so did the exchange and that lowers price by almost half.[/QUOTE]

Some people get the unlocked PCM and keep their old one so they can switch them out if they go to a dealer for service or warranty work that require the dealership to plug into the PCM and make adjustments or changes. The downside is the PCM also records the vehicle mileage so if they(the dealership) compare your odometer and your stock PCM and the mileage is not the same you're probably SOL regarding powertrain warranty work. IMHO instead of going through all that nonsense, if your asked if your truck is tuned, just tell the truth---it's a matter of personal integrity.

You nailed it Jay.Alot of dealers are easier to deal with if you don't try to ******** them.My local dealer has warrentied my rear diff twice and my T-case once ,and they know my 4X4 is not stock by a long shot and lives at the dragstrip on drag radials every Friday night in the summer.

If they know performance, any tech understands how restricted these truck engines are for emissions and insurance cutoff at the time. This is a 400whp N/A designed engine for a muscle car.

Sometimes the techs can make warranty decisions I think, and some are better than others. However on some of the more expensive warranty claims the regional office and/or factory has to be involved in the warranty approval process. If the dealer does a warranty claim and the factory later rejects the claim, the money comes out of the dealership.

Pretty easily if they have access to last record-able reflash vs what the OBD port returns for your VIN #.
