Ok, Duane when you see this, I'll go with the x pipe and if you can run the price up on the xr-1 part #40491 that will be greatly appreciated

Make sure the x pipe and piping from the x up is the right size too.

Good morning fellas. Yes, if you run duals you should run 2.5" Pipe. If you run single you can run 3" to 3.5" pipe. Yes, it is mostly about backpressure.

As far as the Borla goes, it should be about the same price. What I would suggest - the X Pipe, a couple of pieces of 5' piping, two mufflers, and band style clamps instead of welding it.

not trying to hijack, duane, if i weld up a section of pipe, could I ship it to you for powedercoating and what kind of cost are we talking? also, is there a chroming option?

I can powdercoat it any color you want, but cost is relative to how long and how big the diameter of pipe is. Basically how much powder and clean up it takes to do it. I have a near chrome, which will work inside for like a cup holder or something, but I don't recommend it outside as it dulls quickly with out a clear over it, and the clear dulls it to a grey color.

Ok, look at this: 82" (length of your exhaust system) - 51" (length of X Pipe) leaves you 31". Mufflers are 21" long each, leaves you 10". Add back 4" for connections, you are left with approximately 14" of piping needed. Add 20% for bends, you are looking about 18-19". So, theoretically, you could probably get by with the X Pipe, two mufflers and one 4' piece of pipe. That said, as cheap as the pipe is, I would get two pieces to be on the safe side. Grand total for all of it is $475 plus shipping. So you would be right about $500 or so complete system.

Isn't the muffler 12" x 4 1/2" x 7 7/8"...isn't 12" the length? Where are you getting 21 from

Opps, my bad. I was going by the dimensions of the first one. This one is 18".....
Case Length (in): 12.000 in.
Overall Length (in): 18.000 in.

So you would be looking at about 22" left over past the mufflers.

lol, that's alright. So this is what we got.

1. X Pipe
2. Two Borla XR-1's - 40941 (2)
3. Exhaust tip - 35143 (1)
4. Two 4' pipe for extra piping (2)

I quoted you for 2 pieces of 4' pipe, just to be sure you have plenty. Better to have too much than not enough....but yes, other than that, you are correct.

Ok, so how do we do this? Do you have a link to send me so I can fill out the shipping stuff and pay?

But like I said, When I measured the exhaust, that was 82inches from the back bumper to the outlet of the muffler, not all the way up to the headers...does that change anything measurement wise? lol..

You will need a measurement to the back of the cats...

I only have one cat, you just need a measurement up to the cat, or all the way to the headers? I can do that soon, there is snow all over the driveway so once that gets cleaned up I will measure
