Well, here it goes. I know Ram is a Ram is an FCA but I thought it would be funny, and old school, to do what I did to my badges on the tailgate, front fenders and grille. I like it but I can't wait to hear from the rest of you!DSCN4895F.jpg

You went old school, all rams were dodges up until a few years ago

I still have a dodge car that came with the rams head on it in several different places

I’ll just chime in and say its bad enough when people sticker up their ride with Captain Obvious stickers...oh really? I couldnt tell if it was a Camaro until I saw the 12” banner across the rear window....

dont forget about the license plates that say "my ram" , "my RT ram" ,"cruzn ram" like we cant tell what you drive

At the end of the day it’s just some badges, who gives a **** what others think. You gotta like it and that’s it. Everyone has different taste and opinions so yours is the only one that should matter when it comes to what you do to your truck. If you are doing mods to your truck to impress other people then you’re doing it for the wrong reasons to begin with. Do whatever you like and makes you happy and **** what others think.

Yeah FUCKEM! :321:

Hahah but I gotta be honest, i would be lying if I said that there is not some small percentage of me that enjoys modding a vehicle for the attention, usually of other car/truck enthusiasts. That small part of me is the same part that also tells me to be true to the machine out of respect for the machine.

Go custom if you want something that looks cool and isn't "false advertising"

just my 2 pesos.

Ummmm.... I think that's a micro-aggression and I'm gonna have to take a cry day and go to my safe space now. Besides with all that collusion, shouldn't you be referencing rubles? (Sarcasm...)

My sense is worth less than most. Just a cold hard fact and an accurate measurement ;)

I installed the 5th gen 4x4 and Sport tailgate badges, but my truck is a sport 4x4 and the emblems are genuine Mopar so I felt like this was acceptable.

We all have different tastes. Personally I wouldn’t do it. I prefer keeping things more on the sleeper side. OEM look. Even if it isn’t factory, what could Chrysler themselves have put on the car I will ask myself. Mopar has a lot of cool logos and badges, they always have. But to me it would feel strange. Especially a car as limited and special as the Demon.

The only people who will really know what that badge means, or care about it, are car enthusiast. 90% of people on the road couldn’t give a **** what badge is on a car. I drive around my Charger with just the 392 numbering left on the fenders. I like the simple old school cubic inch lettering on the N/A Hemis. It looks clean and modern but with a touch of the old school. People probably read it and are like WTF does 392 mean? They have no idea. The general public doesn’t even know what HEMI means. They think its just a cool catchy name or something. But guys and gals who are into cars will get it and will know what you’ve really got under the hood. Those are the type of people who would really notice a Demon badge on your truck and may have a laugh at your expense. If you don’t care about that kind of stuff then go for it.

I was in the Charger the other day driving home from work and came across a kid in a new Challenger GT V6. When he saw me he started revving next to me and playing around. I’m smiling cus the car sounded…well… V6 lol, BUT the kid was rocking what he had, GT badges and all. Gave him a thumbs up for a clean unmolested Mopar.

Personally I feeling that it would be a good way to trash up your truck. Putting badges of vehicles that shouldn't be there detract from the overall look. They don't enhance it at all. I feel the same way about adding extra Ram, Hemi, and other vehicle specific badges.

However replacing badges to get a certain look can be a really nice touch, like going from chrome to black. Or going old school and swapping the Hemi 5.7 for a Hemi 345.

Ok so yeah I want one of those sport badges. I had been toying with the idea of adding sport in some way, cause well, it is a sport :) I think I may have to copy that one!

The saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

lol nope doesn’t apply to a lot of us.

But I’ve been enjoying the truck the way she is.

In respect to the mopar community I don’t think I will throw another badge in there. I’m a Ford guy to begin with any ways :p

Depends, really... A small tasteful item that says something about the owner isn't too bad. For instance, I sprung for a little badge from my alma mater and stuck it in this morning. Unless you were real close, you'd hardly notiice it...

PS: anyone want a slightly used FlexFuel badge? We don't do E85 in Oregon as far as I'm aware...
