I have a complete 2017 RA4 VP4-NA Upgrade kit with SINGLE ZONE ATC hardware option and Includes custom Single Zone ATC bezel...

** This is not an Android Auto Apple Carplay radio**.
(extra sensor Included for 4 speed 2500/3500, ATC wiring is already built in to the harness. 1500 req's an extra harness and sensor for a bit more). Ideally for a 2013-17 ram but can be used in a 2018/classic truck, but will have cell error service message that can be fixed with a work around.

Comes with used/tested 17ra4 w/unlock code & sw v18.45.x (very good condition), custom Single Zone ATC bezel, cell bypass plug, new HVAC module, our universal conversion harness with ATC (& New Mopar/ Denso fan Resistor & Plug n play fan harness for 2500/3500's).... & I can swap out parts for 1500 ATC harness setup.

17ra4 Nav radio & custom Single Zone ATC kit for 2013 -17 4spd 2500/3500 trucks

- 17 RA4 VP4-NA nav radio 68260661Ax with unlock code and sw version 18.45.01

- Custom 8.4 Single Zone ATC Bezel (see here.)

- 4/7 spd Universal Conversion harness w/ATC Pt1 v4
- 4 to 7 Speed Fan MTR Power harness v4 (plug n play)
- Cell Error Bypass Plug
- Mopar/Denso Fan Resistor and HVAC module for 2500/3500’s with RAx radio - New
- ATC Cabin Temp Sensor - New

Message me if interested. $1375 shipped/USA.

(Can also split up the kit if you have your own radio, ie UAQ or UAS that requires Single Zone ATC to work correctly, or can offer a new Single Zone MTC Bezel without the ATC sensor for $150 less. You can still add ATC later).

I want to Thank Mpgrimm2 for the Harness and Module I bought from him. I would Recommend Anyone to Him. He was willing to take time out of his time to answer questions I had, and tell me what I needed. The harness he made was quality work and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Everything was plug and play and everything works like it should. THANKS!!!

Got my 8.4 conversion harness, as well as the hvac module and the radio bezel over at M2 mods. I was super impressed with the quality of the harness. Its even better than the factory ones IMO. Real great communication and fast shipping and response times. Mpgrimm2 was super helpful and answered all my questions and sent very easy to understand/follow directions. Whole conversion only took a couple hours and everything worked perfectly. One of the best experiences I've personally had working on one of my own vehicles. I cannot recommend this enough!

... Another one of "4th Gen Ram's" customers (edit: now going by 4wheelelectronics ) that found me via Facebook referral. I will be getting him fixed up because of a crap harness that apparently looked ok when installed ... (He gave permission to share).
It's the worst one I've ever seen (there have been several) ... it sucks to see people have to pay more money to fix poor quality like this.

Any of you that got your 8.4 4 speed conversion harness set from somewhere else ... Check your fan resistor harness!

Here's someone else's customer that just came to me with a bad fan harness ....

Tonight while helping a customer that got something else from me, I learned that InfoTainment is selling 8.4 13-18/classic 8.4 Conversion harness kits (w/o radio) with USED/Refurbished 8.4 Bezels... Not new ones & not specifying this anywhere.
(Also taking Dual Zone ATC bezels and Vinyl wrapping over the pass. side temp controls and shipping w/kits vs Single Zone MTC bezels... Not stated either. Customer got a used 2015 Dual Zone ATC bezel with their kit). Might be why the price people that are getting their own used 8.4 bezels went up.

This is separate from selling "refurbished/tested" radios which is generally understood & indicated.

** THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. PLEASE BE PATIENT WHILE I RECREATE THE DELETED THREAD & ASSOCIATED LINKS AGAIN **
see ... 2013+ radio thread missing.

** Posts 1-12 and 15 are updated with working links and pictures **

I take NO credit for any of this, just wanted to sum this info up for everyone here. All credit goes to Getupkid, Duneflyer, Mondo161, Cptwing, PJW67, and others for getting this project started and all their research.

Be sure to thank Cptwing and Indaram for these original posts wherever you see them as well as the original folks who did all the work to figure this out...

(again, I had nothing to do with it, I'm merely the tech secretary here that still had the files!)

2018 & 19 CLASSIC OWNERS !]

* It is NOT recommended to install a 13-17 RAx radio in a 2018 or 19 classic!

It 'can' be done but you 'CURRENTLY' can't get rid of Cellular System needs service error message at startup (unless using the recommended 2018/19 classic UAx radio, & you will need ATC w/UAx upgrades to avoid hvac blend door issues).

Ram 2019 Classic RA2 to RA4 Upgrade.

& How To: Install a 2018 4C (UAQ/UAS) Radio in 2013 - 2017 RAM

Gibbs' HVAC Issues w/UAS upgrade (fixed with ATC mod).
& Outback199 's 19Classic w/same issue at post 138.

There was another one just before you over in the Facebook group also...

People with 4speed 8.4 conversions from them really need to keep an eye on that fan harness...

Thank you again Mpgrimm2 for the conversion harness and HVAC module. It was a very easy install. Took me only about 30 mins to do the full install with radio and bezel swap. And everything works perfect! Been installed for about 2 months now

Help. I have a 2018 ram 2500 st.. base model. Radio is a Ra1 and has 4 speed fan. I installed a ra4 and a 7 sped resistor and used a 4 wheel electronics radio upgrade harness. Everything is working aside from ac.. compressor no longer kicks in after conversion. Anyone ever have this issue ? 4we is not replying to any emails to help me. Paid more for the harness and shipping than I did for the radio and module.

I'm not sure which version of our harness they are replicating, but it's likely that something isn't hooked up correctly or made wrong.

What's the pn of the HVAC module you're using and of the radio (year/Model)?

What directions do they give you/tell you to follow?

(I'll message you to get some info) contact number)

Hello everyone!

I have a question regarding the radio upgrade. I recently upgraded my RA2 5.0” with Phone/ VR button and mics in headliner with satellite radio to RA4 8.4 radio with navigation. The radio is a 2017 model and I installed it into my 2021 ram 1500 classic. I bought the radio from infotainment.com that included a whole kit to install, the bezel, the hvac module, the harness and the 911 cell bypass plug. Everything works great on it except I keep getting the cell error message every time I start my truck. I’ve done some research and I know that installing a 2017 radio into anything 2018+ can cause the message to come up regardless if the bypass plug is plugged in. I was wondering if there’s anything I can do or buy to stop the message coming up? I look forward for the help! Thanks!

you will also need to pickup an ECRI FULL Security Gateway Bypass (or at Amazon) to get rid of the cell error message in addition to the cell error bypass plug

That’s all I’ll need to get rid of the cell error message? Where does this plug into? I bought a security module bypass from www.kaodtech.com awhile ago to use alpha obd on my truck, is this a similar product?
It plugs into the Security Gateway Module harness behind the radio on your particular truck.

You only need one bypass or another for programming changes with AlfaOBD, but the ECRI fully bypasses the radio as well which is the issue in your situation.

Deereguy's (Kaodtech) harness leaves the radio protected behind the gateway so truck can't be remote hacked/controlled via the radio's Cellular Signal and is easier to install/remove before a trip to the dealer.

Tradeoffs.

Do you have any idea where exactly the ECRI bypass plugs into behind the radio? I’ve looked and cannot find the correct plugs that it plugs into.
