oil filter / hemi tick?

Guys, Could a different oil filter possibly have an impact on an engine that suffers from the hemi tick? Is part of the tick coming from a leak back/ draining issue, etc? Not an oil thread, just an oil filter thread. Not trying to start an oil war.

Okay, has anyone noticed less (or more) of the hemi tick after switching brands of oil filters?

I just changed my oil to RP and put in a FRAM Tough Guard filter. No tick on my truck.

I will use this filter next time....

I run mobile 1 filters and I hear it every time I start her up

Get a filter with an anti-drainback valve.

Mine did it the day I bought it new with the factory filter on it (20 miles?). So I guess it's just gonna tick then. lol thanks
