You will need to update to sw version 17.x.x before you can install the v18.45.x update.

What's your model and pn for your radio?

2015 RA4 VP4-NA nav radio PN is:
68238619AA AC AE AF AG AH

Also:
the software listed here is for USA (-NA) radios. If your radio is a -MX (Mexico), -ROW (Rest of World), or something else, then these won't work for you.

* Dealer Mode (Use this to identify your Radio's P/N and S/N !)

I am not responsible for you or what you do with your radio. I am simply trying to help those that can't get a verified VIN for their 8.4AN upgrade/swap/update.

Need everyone to keep an eye out for an official v18.11.x or v18.43.x download file if it becomes available for each Ra4 VP4-NA year from 13-17 (& Ra3 Vp3-NA).

[C]** For those that get the OTA update, please last is know your truck/radio year, model, & final SW version from the settings menu or dealer menu **
(ie 17 Ra4 VP4-NA v18.45.01 or 15 RA3 Vp3-NA v18.11.07, etc) [/C]

There are a lot of folks out there with 8.4 upgrades and factory radios out of warranty this will affect on Nov 3.

Guys I have the files for 18.45.01 for GC2015. if you have 16.16.13 which recommends going to a dealer. It will need to upgrade to 17.43.01 1st then upgrade to 18.45. Just did my upgrade no issues, just make sure you strictly follow final upgrade steps 11 & 12 and then turn ignition to run and leave alone for 5-10 min to allow apps to properly load.

Understood, I was able to get my case fixed based on the information that was shared here, I was trying to collaborate (for free) with the forum with some help. But I agree with your skepticism. My next step will be to upgrade my system from current VP4 to UAQ. So, in case sharing my experiencing doing so will add value to the forum here, let me know and I will happy to share.

Just curious, I had posted the Canadian updates 17.11.07 and 18.45.01 that i used on my previous truck. I know that a few of the guys have used it. I sold that truck last summer and while cleaning up the computer, i came across those files and was debating deleting them. Another member had recently said he was unable to download the shared files. Should i re upload those before i delete them, or are there a couple trusted source for canadian updates that everyone has access to?

I received a notice to upgrade to 18.45.01

The dealership said that they were going to do a radio update & they claim that they did, BUT my radio still reads 17.11.07

So i went to the Uconnect website & downloaded the update to My Download File, it was a ZIP file & i extracted it to another file & checked it out, the 5 files were there & i loaded them onto a Thumb drive. I checked the Thumb drive & the 5 files were on there.
I stuck the thumb drive into the correct port.

The radio is refusing them

I then drove to the dealership to insure that the USB ports were working, they checked them & showed me they worked great, 1 seems to be a charging port & the other is for downloading & uploading files

I bought a 32 gig thumb drive & it had 2 files on it, 1 of them was called VAULT & that is where i d/l the files to

First you have to erase everything off the thumb drive, no folders, no vault, no anything.
Then format it as Fat32 if it's not already done.

Then extract the v18.45.01 update zip file to your desktop. It should give you a folder with some files in it. Usually 1 or 2 files named similar to the following...

Swdl.iso
Swdl.upd

You need to copy those one or two files... Without any folders directly to the thumb drive. And then use it for your update. This is all completely at your own risk. It's the dealer was supposed to do it, I'd make them do it.

I suggest you plan to sit in the truck with it running for 20-30 mins while the update is happening to ensure the battery voltage doesn't drop to low during the update in case you have an older battery... Can brick the radio.

So i will format to Fat 32 & try again

Unzipped the file & then transferred the 5 files over to the thumb drive one at a time

Tomorrow i have a Pilot Car job, i will have plenty of time to update the radio file
If i did it correctly this time

14.05.3

I have a factory RA4 8.4 with nav.

The Uconnect website says i have the latest software. I referred to OPs software list and it says i need to update at dealer?

Can somebody confirm that im correct?

I don't have over air update because it's a early canadian model. (Not available on 2014 Can Ram)

I was going to try and ask my local dealer if they can load it onto a thumb drive. If you find a solution before me please post it here.
