I didn't order the christmas tree ones yet, I did bugger up a couple on the top radiator cover, but they were still good enough to work halfway decent.Yea, a couple years ago I figured out that most of the little plastic fasteners used all over out trucks are pretty generic and fit tons of other brands of car.
Thant being the case, they can be bought on Amazon for super cheap. I keep lots of different ones on-hand. the 1/4" christmas tree style that secure the upper radiator cover are super common and used everywhere. They're good to have on-hand too:
I actually ran out a few weeks ago and had to order more. I replaced the windshield washer spray nozzles and had to take down the insulated hood liner. It uses quite a few of them.
When I replaced my water pump, the lower radiator shroud cove took 6, i think.
I didnt pull my whole lower shroud, only pulled it loose from the fan shroud. I knew just by how it felt I would ruin those if I tried to separate it, so I left it alone.
I shared the grille clip link with another member who already ordered some, theirs have been broken for years, they said.
The plastic stuff gets really britttle.
I am trying to find the Ram part numbers for the coolant hoses all I can find so far is the upper and lower rad hoses and the 3 way valve itself. I want to get that stuff ordered up before its no longer available.
