Until recently, maybe just last year,
RockAuto used to have a note, the note mentioned that it was the OE Part.

Like the NGK Spark Plug would have something like *OE part in the note

Now it seems like they just place a red heart, which to me means that the NGK Spark Plug is a favorite.

But, if you look at Spark Plugs & MOPAR Spark Plugs are listed.
The Mopar part number & the NGK # are the same, except the Mopar number has an SP as the first 2 digits, SP = spark plug.
So that tells me that they are made by NGK.

What would be a good fuel level sensor to buy? The MOPAR one has been discontinued.

I doubt that it was discontinued. More likely deprecated and replaced with a more recent iteration of the part#. The various sites may show the old deprecated part# as being discontinued though.

I looked up the part for a 2012 Ram 5.7 and found some. Cross referencing its part# indicates that my 2013 uses the same part number, and other years as well.

Mopar Parts Giant lists it as fitting 2011 thru 2014 models and shows it in stock.

Rock Auto has plenty, included 1 Mopar in stock. Also, plenty of Delphi units which have a decent reputation.

Various Mopar parts retailers always show stuff as being unavailable, not fitting or discontinued, when they actually fit and work perfectly fine. For example, RockAuto shows MOPAR 68086502AA as fitting your truck. And it almost certainly does, however if you look it up on MoparPartsGiant you get:

But, it does fit.

Here is another example. This is the EPS steering rack that I put on my 2013 Ram Sport back in february:

I've been running that rack&pinion in my truck for 10 months so far, and it's still working perfectly.

Oh, and here is the OEM Mopar water pump for my wife's Durango that RockAuto showed as fitting it:

As you can likely guess. Yes, it fits just fine.

So, as you can see, the various Mopar parts retailers are probably the least reliable source on earth as to what works on what.

Order one from Rock Auto. So far, everything they've told me would fit, has fit. Rock Auto Rocks! :head3:
