ROLL-UP INFO: FOTA 18.11.x & uC D/L 18.45.01 SW Update 13-17 RA3/Vp3-NA & Ra4 VP4-NA

I have a 2016 Ram, with the RA4 8.4 Navigation radio
the current radio Version on it is 17.11.07 software
The update that the notice says that i have to install is V 18.45.01

I can't seem to find it, but there is a website that states which radio upgrade version each Ram radio should be getting, it goes by year, etc.
The list is longer than i would have thought

The notice that i received read
uconnect 13-17 VP4 is: Uconnect_VP4,18.45.01

Well that sucks, the instructions say the truck must be running. Mine has no engine at the moment so this will have to wait.

The only reason they say to run the engine is so your battery won't go dead during the update

You can put the battery on a charger & turn the ignition on, then do the update
Once you start the update, you can not turn the ignition off until the whole update is finished & the radio asks you some questions about doing the update a second time, this will happen after about 20 minutes after first starting the update

Looks like its working, I put a battery charger on the truck and have been sitting here for the last 30 minutes. I looks like its on its third installation of the software, I hope that's not a bad sign.

So after 3 restarts it did finish to 100% but then just shut off. Truck shut off totally. I waited for 10 minutes as the instructions said the screen would go black but it just never came back on so I turned the ignition back on. It looks like it updated. There was an error just after I turned it back on saying something like "ISO not copied" but it went away to quickly.

This was so much fun I want to try the 18.45 update.
It looks like it is not year specific? but is it Canadian specific?

Just curious, I had posted the Canadian updates 17.11.07 and 18.45.01 that i used on my previous truck. I know that a few of the guys have used it. I sold that truck last summer and while cleaning up the computer, i came across those files and was debating deleting them. Another member had recently said he was unable to download the shared files. Should i re upload those before i delete them, or are there a couple trusted source for canadian updates that everyone has access to?

Hopefully gixxer750 re-hosts the Canadian files..

I believe that the 18.45.01 update is for
2013 - 2017 year model Rams

There may be a difference when it comes to different countries
In the made for USA radios, they have the ability to use Uconnect Access, also called Sirius Guardian

I don't believe the Made for Canada Rams have that feature

It does work as far as I can tell although I don't have a running truck so I cant get out of the shop to test the NAV.
I don't know why I did not see this before and am currently downloading it to try.

That went very smooth. Does the V0 under map database meed version 0? Is there a way to update that?

So to go to 18.45.01 it looks like its the same file for all years and works on the Canadian trucks???
I found this from lak8 'The files worked on my Canadian radio. Just wanted to mention"
And this from chrisbh17 '18.45.01 will work on any year, just need to make sure you get the right variant (RA3/VP3 or RA4/VP4)"

If someone can verify I will do that tomorrow.
