I completed the humidity sensor upgrade a while back for the auto temp control. Decided to do the mirror upgrade to get SmartBeam enabled seeing how I had the right wiring from my M2Mods wiring harness. Found a mirror on ebay and installed it. Couldn't get it to work, then found I needed one additional setting which was under a 2014 CBC I/O & Features, who would have thought a 2015 need a setting under a 2014 menu! Not me, I skipped right over it! Anyway, after enabling it I'm now good to go with SmartBeam enabled.

So I installed my mirror and got the harness. It plugs and play but I have a red light on the mirror side facing me on the upper middle of mirror that is flashing when key is on or running? It goes off when I turn the key off. Anyone know why or how to fix that issue?

my truck is 19 1500 Classic and the mirror is out of a 16 1500 with auto dim and auto high beam w/ assist and 911 buttons. Dim, assist and 911 buttons work fine

I have the UAS, it’s a 2019 Classic. Just upgraded my manual dim mirror with an auto dim with smart beam. Did not appear that I needed to replace the header harness. I updated all the settings, I have the soft key for the auto high beam, but I don’t see one for the auto dim. I also confirmed for auto high beam, it indicates it’s on/off in the EVIC when I turn the high beams on/off, I just haven’t tested everything while driving at night yet. Just can’t find a soft key for the auto dim anywhere. Assumed it would be under the mirror settings but it isn’t. And I’ve checked a few other places as well.

Look in the controls button and that’s where mines is. I will take a picture when I get in my truck today

Do you have heated or cooled seats ?
You also Have a back up camera I’m guessing ?

Correct, my truck is an express, no heated/cooled, or power seat. It did come with the UAS and 7” EVIC. I upgraded the side view mirrors to power fold with memory (I don’t use the tilt in reverse though). And I just recently upgraded my manual dim mirror with the auto dim/smart beam mirror. Just confirmed smart beam is working correctly and there is a soft key to turn it on and off. Can’t find a soft key for the auto dim and not 100% sure if it is working or not. Tried shining my phone light on it and watching my drivers side mirror to see if it dimmed but couldn’t really see much. I’ll shoot you a PM.

Sounds like I have to get the ‘Controls’ section added under settings somehow…

Yeah I definitely don’t have this since I don’t have any of those options showing (other than just adding the auto dim). Wondering if I say my truck has a heated wheel if the ‘controls’ section will show up.
