Just installed mine last weekend. Went with 2.1 setting. Super happy with the front end look but am having a hard time getting used to the rear bumper sitting lower. I think I'm just gonna put a 1'' or 1.5" spacer in next to lift the back up a tad. I am looking at some 35x11.5s for the stock wheels. Is anyone running this setup and running 35s?? I'm pretty sure I can clear them but some reassurance would be nice.

Bought the bilsteins for the front and back from 4 wheel parts. Got them installed saturday and made the mistake of not checking their work. Obviously i noticed the front was 2" taller. But this morning i decided to look underneath and when i check the rear i found my oem shocks!! I drove straight to 4 wheel parts and showed them my reciept and asked why werent the rear shocks installed! They checked their computers and walked around and then put me ahead of their scheduled customers for the day. The only reason they could come up with was the mechanic mustve misread the ticket. Gotem installed in about 45 minutes. I checked them before i left lol. If you have a shop install them CHECK THEIR WORK BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!! I wish i had the knowledge and tools to do stuff myself. So tired of dealing with shops.

OK I have a question. I have a 2018 2500 with the "off road" package. This package comes stock with a set of front and rear bilsteins. I believe with this package the stock ride height is a bit higher that a "regular" 4x4, but it still has rake. I cant find any official specs to confirm that the off road package ride height is in fact higher that the regular 4x4, dose any one know if this is the case? I belie that is the case but I need to know for sure.

If that is the case, I'm trying to figure out what would happen if I ran 2.1 bils in front and did the rear bils "stock ride height". If my rear is higher will the new rear bils actually drop it a bit?

Anyone got a idea on this?

I don’t think the 2500 falls under this category. If I remember right it’s shocks not struts in the front. 1500 have front struts. And changing rear shocks won’t change ride height

Yep , to my knowledge you just need coil spacers up front to level & if you use over a 1.5" spacer then just get longer front shocks ...

Happy New Year!

I just got the 5100's in from AMZ. They are for 4th gen, 24-187367, as mine is a 2015 Laramie CC. Someone posted earlier on in this thread, these adjustable Bilsteins are only for 4WD? Is that true? My Laramie is 2WD. I swear some of the trucks on this thread are not 4WD. I would like to imagine it makes no difference, but does it?

Thanks!

The struts you bought are for 4x4 only

Just got my 5100s installed yesterday. It rides great and I love the new stance.

Set at 2.1, no vibrations or wobbles and the alignment seems to still be good. Tracks perfectly strait with the steering wheel centered.

I'm going to get an alignment anyway tomorrow, just to be sure.

I'll post a few pics as soon as I get them uploaded.

It took a bit to get the pics uploaded and sized. Imgur isn't nearly as easy as photobucket used to be.

Photobucket doesn't work anymore and imgur sucks. What is being used for photo hosting these days?

Im using a Droid Turbo. Not sure what a tapatalk is.

I have an imgur acct, but everything I do results in error messages. I'm competent when it comes to uploading to a site, then linking the URL with imbed code.

All the websites now seem to use weird little icons and symbology with no text to explain whats going on.

For some reason the world seems to be trying to avoid using letters and numbers! It remind me of the hospital scene in Idiocracy. I can't figure out what all the little cartoonish buttons are suppose to represent.

On my windows pc, I've determined that the little rectangle containing a rectangular array of smaller rectangles opens a near useless calculator. The rectangle with a V inside it is email. I've figured out what various others represent as well, but I sure miss the days when there were textual drop-down menu, that just said "calculator" and "email".

Apparently some sites use an arrow pointing up, to begin an upload process. I tried imgbb, but everything is weird. A little icon of a cloud?!

On your Droid , go to play store and search for : Tapatalk. It's an excellent forum base platform imo . Once you creat a login for Tapatalk just search for Ramforum within Tapatalk then log in as ussual to the Ramforum.
I think it's much better for phone use and photos are a snap .

Hope this helps

If you select “more options” then select “upload images” you should be able to attach pics that way.
